Home at last!

Yes! I've found a home for my DK!

.... and how were your holidays by the way? :)

My biggest wow present was finally finding a home for my Death Knight.

And what a long, strange journey it has been.

Here's the short version.

I left Multa Nocte on Moonrunner in search of a guild that would allow me to 1) raid late at night, 2) progress into hard modes, and 3) be a fun place to be.

As most of you know, I joined Fallout on Baelgun mere days before it imploded.
The GM from that guild asked me to join him on Borean Tundra in a guild run by a friend of the GM in the guild Snickerfritz. They hoped to quickly put together a competitive late night raid, but unfortunately it didn't quite happen that way. Only myself and one other Fallout raider transferred with the GM, plus a few stragglers here and there.

So, out went another round of applications. Not many guilds needed a DK that fit my criteria.
I contemplated becoming a Hordie.
I contemplated a monastic life.

I found Insomnia back on Baelgun.
They needed a DK.
I needed a good late night group.

Match made in heaven.

My first night was last night.
We one-shot 4/4 Icecrown Citadel, the weekly raid (XT), and Beasts and Jaraxxus on heroic TOC, and then 4-shot Faction Champs before the end of the raid. This week we'll shoot for heroic Anub'arak. It went smoothly, and I was having fun raiding again!

Ah, home at last!

This will free me up to return to writing what I love best, raiding.
I'll work on posts on the rest of the first wing of Icecrown bosses now that I've seen the 25-man version, and hopefully be ready for the second wing next week.

Cheers, and thanks for the support!
